Ben Durham awarded Pollock-Krasner Foundation grant

By News

We are pleased to announce that Ben Durham has recently been awarded a Pollock-Krasner Foundation grant for the coming year!

There are currently a few great opportunities to view Durham’s work in the region. You can of course see his work here at Reynolds Gallery but Durham’s drawings are also included in the exhibition “Drawing on the Edge”, currently on view at the National Portrait Gallery of the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, D.C.

In other exciting news, the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts recently acquired one of Durham’s large text drawings, Amanda, which is expected to grace the walls of the museum’s 21st Century galleries in the new year.

More information on “Drawing on the Edge” at the National Portrait Gallery is available here.
