THE LAUNCH PROJECT
Reynolds Gallery invites Richmond artists working in all media to submit proposals for an exhibition in one of the gallery’s upstairs spaces. The Launch Project is a solo exhibition which will spotlight work from one undiscovered contemporary artist in the Richmond community. This program is aimed to provide an opportunity to young, emerging artists practicing outside of the traditional gallery structure who may not have had formal training or representation. Our goal is to help enrich the artist’s career by providing support for artistic professionalism including writing statements, curation, installation, and sales.
The deadline for submissions is 11:59 PM on Monday, May 4th.
Work will be reviewed by the gallery team and acceptance notification will be sent Friday, May 15th.
The exhibition will open Friday, November 6th with an opening reception from 6 – 8 pm, in concurrence with the downstairs exhibitions.
All shows close Wednesday, December 23rd.
